    Hi all,
Recently, I got a task to edit known issues for our Release Notes document. I used only passive voice in the description of these known issues. But a colleague told me I should use active voice to make the sentences simple. But in my memory, I should avoid using “you” or “users” in the description of known issues. Am I wrong? Who can give me an answer? Please.

You can use “You” unless your organization specifically restricts it to use in your user documentation. Although, Active voice is preferred, passive voice can be used sometimes if the subject is more important and key of the sentence.
