When I was in college I enjoyed writing papers and other documents more than anything else I studied. So when I graduated I wanted to know how do you become a technical writer?
Technical writing is a great profession for anyone who has an attention to detail and an interest in technical fields. As a technical writer you can write all types of technical documentation including training manuals, instruction manuals, technical specs and much more.
But how do you become a technical writer? Well, the easiest way to become a technical writer is to start with you current company and job. Look at their job postings and see if they have any listings for technical writer jobs. In the digital world there is always a high demand for technical writers. Often times you can find technical writing jobs that you can transition into right at your current company.
