I am looking for opinions on different Help Authoring software packages.
We currently use MadCap Flare, but our needs seem to have outgrown the software.
    What do you use?
What are the pros and cons of that software?
    Thanks!

    Hello Bridget,

What are some of your growth needs? You may want to look at Component Content Management Software (CCMSs) if HAT software doesn’t suffice.

This website has a pretty comprehensive list of software, not just Help Authoring Tools.

Personally, I use easyDITA, I also work for the company that makes it.

    easyDITA
    Pros: More capabilities than HATs.
Cons: Requires you to learn DITA.

    Best of luck!
